"We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Serendipity in St Ives. The apartment was very clean and had all essential amenities. It was also very useful to have complimentary membership to the gym and spa."
"I am delighted to report that the standard of accommodation offered at Serendipity and the cleanliness were both exceptional. We enjoyed our holiday very much. Carbis Bay Holidays dealt with all the administration quickly and efficiently. I particularly enjoyed the visit I made to Barbara Hepworth's studio. The guided tour, which takes place each day at 1pm and is included in the price of admission, was of an unusually high standard and greatly enhanced my understanding and appreciation of her life and work."
"We very much enjoyed our stay in Serendipity it is located in a good position for access to and from St Ives and the surrounding area. The accommodation itself is of exceptional quality which we could not find fault with. Hopefully we do intend to visit the area again next year and would not hesitate to book again with you in the same accommodation."
"We had an excellent stay in Serendipity and would definitely come back again, it was fitted to a very high specification with all the necassary facilities that made it a home away from home. The outside area added an extra room - which is great for little ones to play in when the weather is nice, and for adults just to relax in the evening. As the weather was very good all week, we spent most of the week on the beach - as we have a three year old, and sandcastles are top of the list:) We did go out to Lappa Valley, which I would recommend as a good half days entertainment (in good weather though), for probably up to 5 year old's. The three train rides are the big selling point, although the boat ride was also reaaly good fun and easy going. An outside play area, miningolf and a nature walk are also there to fill out the day. Thanks for an excellent holiday!!"
"We very much enjoyed staying at serendipity tucked away in the corner. The apartment was yet again was immaculate, and comfy. The new coffee machine was great we went and bought one yesterday!"

"The feedback from myself and my 2 sisters are the same; 100% satisfaction! We weren't sure which was the best journey of discovery in Cornwall; Cornwall itself or the apartment; it seemed like every day we discovered some different thing in the apartment!! We particularly enjoyed the Tregenna Castle Hotel; a beautiful place, with beautiful grounds and backdrop, and excellent value and quality meals."
"We really enjoyed our week in St Ives, it was a very good base for us as regards being able to walk into town and the variety of restaurants etc. the Porthminster Beach Cafe twice, also for lunch was the Porthmeor Beach Cafe and the Porthgwidden for morning coffee. We also tried the Mermaid and the Black Rock both were good."
"We had a super week in Serendipity. It exceeded our expectations, was very well equipped, very clean and ideally situated. We loved the outside seating area and used it lots. We went to St Michael's Mount and Eden Project, one of the main reasons that we visited Cornwall and well worth it. Carbis Bay away an easy stroll and the coastal path towards Zennor gave amazing views. The apartment is also extremely well placed for the bus and train station."
"We had a super week in Serendipity. It exceeded our expectations, the apartment was very well equipped, very clean and ideally situated. We loved the outside seating area and used it lots. We went to St Michael's Mount.....but the tide was in, the sea quite rough and consequently the island almost deserted so just how we like things, also The Eden Project, one of the main reasons that we visited Cornwall and well worth it. Walking out from the apartment was easy; Carbis Bay an easy stroll and the coastal path towards Zennor gave amazing views. The apartment is also extremely well placed for the bus and train station. St Ives was fab. We loved it."
"We had a superb stay in St Ives and Serendipity apartment was absolutely superb. Fantastic location, spotlessly clean with outstanding finish in terms of decor and furnishing. Everything was pretty much perfect!"
"We had a fantastic holiday, this was one of the best places we have stayed. The accommodation was outstanding, very well equipped and immaculately kept."
"We thought Serendipity was very comfortable, extremely clean, beautifully furnished and having the car parking space was invaluable. The location was great for getting to the town and beach."
"We have visited St Ives several times as we love it there and usually stay in bed and breakfast, but thiis year having a young baby we wanted something more like 'home from home'. And Serendipity did not disappoint at all. As well as being totally spotless it had everything you could need. Seafood Cafe and Ocean Grill have always been favourites of ours. The walk along to Lelant is also worth doing and then treating yourself to a nice lunch and drink in the Badger Inn there. With having our daughter, this time we actually took the train along to Lelant which again is great and very regular."
"The apartment 'Serendipity' was first class throughout, with an excellent specification and location. The beds, linen and pillows, towels and all equipment were all of a very good quality. The cleaning was immaculate and everything was in first rate condition."
"We had a lovely holiday in a fantastic apartment! It really is ideally positioned and is equipped to a really high standard with everything you could need and more!"
"We were are very impressed with Serendipity and appreciated the thought that has gone into deciding how finish this property and what to include on the equipment list. The overall quality of this accommodation really sets the standard that all 5 star properties to strive to achieve."
"We thought Serendipity was excellent, extremely comfortable and superbly equipped. We loved having our breakfast sitting outside in the extremely well designed and well sheltered 'patio'. It is fairly rare to be able to eat breakfast outside in this country in October. Everything was very well planned and suited me well (I have difficulties in walking and use two sticks.) In terms of restaurants, we would certainly recommend 'The Captain's Table' at the Sloop Inn. My husband particularly enjoyed the guided walk around St Ives which focussed on local artists."
"Thank you for an excellent stay in Serendipity. The apartment is extremely well furnished and kitted out, making our stay very comfortable - I particularly enjoyed the terrace, and my son loved the high tech equipment! We all loved the location (despite the uphill climb home) and we didn't use the car once, just enjoyed being in St Ives. We will have to come again to visit all the places we missed this year."
"Accommodation was excellent. Fabulous location. We had an excellent holiday, helicopter ride to Isles of Silly was a highlight. Would definitely consider return to St. Ives and this accommodation again."
"We were more than impressed by the standard of accommodation at Serendipity, it was immaculate, furnished beautifully and equipped to an extremely high standard. It was a perfect base for our holiday and I will definitely be recommending it to family and friends. The scenery was breath taking. We can also recommend the art walking tour, in St Ives, we ate out at the Portminster Beach Cafe and the Union Pub, in the town."
