The Point boasts an open plan living area with comfortable seating for up to four people. There is a quality leather two seater sofa and two freestanding armchairs chairs with the added benefit of footstools for guests to relax in.
For entertainment there is an LCD TV with Sky including Movies and Sport, DVD player with selection of DVDs, complimentary Wi-Fi and an iPod dock so that guests’ can listen to their own background music. A selection of books and board games are also provided.
The dining room has a table and chairs for four people to enjoy eating in this beautiful holiday home and a high quality cutlery canteen is provided in the adjacent sideboard.
To help you discover the hidden secrets of Cornwall, a Welcome Guide is provided in the apartment. This outlines a wealth of information about St Ives and West Cornwall providing the perfect inspiration for energetic coastal walks, wildlife watching, visitor attractions and fabulous restaurants.
This quality kitchen is filled with light and blends seamlessly into the living area area making for a sociable cooking experience. Ample storage is provided within the cream gloss units, along with plentiful preparation space on the works tops. There are a wide selection of kitchen implements and a range of high quality appliances including a microwave, electric hob, oven, handheld blender and dishwasher. Guests’ will not be disappointed. As you would expect from a luxury apartment of this quality guests’ will also find a coffee machine, toaster and kettle.
There is a separate utility room off the hallway with a washer/ dryer, ironing board and iron.
Bedroom One with En-suite
Bedroom one boasts a luxurious double bed with high quality bed linen. For entertainment, there is a 32” LCD TV with Freeview.
You will not want for storage space here, there is plenty available in the generous mirrored wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers provided.
A hairdryer is available for guest use. Bedroom Two
This room has two single beds, mirrored wardrobe and a tall chest of drawers and bedside table. You can be assured of a sound nights sleep in these quality beds. So much so that there is also an alarm clock should guests choose to use it!
Boasting the latest in bathroom design, the main bathroom of The Point is accessed off the hallway. The large tiles compliment the gleaming chrome fittings and Italian style sanitary-ware. There is a WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and bath with overhead shower and screen.
The en-suite to bedroom one of The Point is fully tiled, with the latest Italian style sanitary-ware and chrome fittings. Here there is a WC, sink, and shower enclosure with power shower. Superb.
A set of quality towels are provided for each and every guest.
The large glass doors from the living area open out to a superb South facing decked terrace which stretches the full width of this ground floor apartment. This provides the perfect sun-trap with sea views across St. Ives Bay. The terrace is furnished with two bistro tables and four chairs. Here guests’ will enjoy al fresco dining at any time, whether it be breakfast, lunch or supper.

It was very clean, well presented, and all the fixtures and fittings were clearly of the highest quality, and our stay was excellent. Our aim will be to use it again, hopefully next year. During our stay, we became "regulars" at The Seafood Cafe in Fore Street, excellent food, extremely pleasant staff, pleasant ambience, and not overly expensive, what more could you ask for, and we would recommend anyone to try it, but I'm sure that in the height of summer, it would always be necessary to book, as we did last week. In summary, then ,an excellent week was had all round."
"We had a fantastic holiday, The Point was great . Perfect location. Close enough to get to everything in a relatively short walk but far enough out to be out of the melee and on the right side to get out in the car easily without crawling through crowded streets which really should be pedestrianised. The view, even from the ground floor The Point was great. The apartment was really well finished and really well appointed.in terms of walks etc we love the coastal path walk to Carbis Bay beach and did this on a few occasions and even managed it last year with push chairs etc but didn’t need those this year. For a relaxed evening meal (without kids) we had a great night at the Porthminster Cafe which is great value for excellent food in a cracking environment. We’ve eaten there each of the last 3 years and noted it was in the Times tope 20 best places to eat on the coast a few weeks ago. With the kids we loved Blas Burger, small and grungy but a great burger and great value. Each year the range and quality of places to eat seems to improve with excellent Cornish produce so it seems to be coming a foodie heaven. The beaches are the main attraction for us and shouldn’t be underplayed. We’ve two young boys and they absolutely loved the boat trip on the Dolly P to see the seals. We’d recommend that particularly for people with young kids. Ours are 3 1/2 and nearly 6."

"Just a message to say how much we enjoyed our short break at The Point. It was a last minute booking, we were absolutely thrilled with the apartment. It was the best apartment we have ever rented. Everything you wanted or needed was there. The standard of furniture, fittings, kitchen appliances and extras, bed linen and towels was superb. It is in a fabulous position with side views of the sea from the balcony and secure, private car parking outside the apartment. It was a 10 mins walk to our favourite pub and the shops in St Ives. The Sloop Inn did a great offer of a steak, dessert and bottle of wine for two. There are walks all around the immediate area. One walk we have done in the past being the cliff walk from St Ives to Zennor. It is rather a long walk but there is a homely pub to welcome you - and a bus to take you back to St Ives in high season. Thanks for a fabulous holiday."

"Our stay at The Point exceeded all expectations. The flat was spotless, warm, and welcoming. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in and was seriously considering taking one home with me! The apartment was decked out in comfortable and fashionable furniture that was a pleasure to relax in. The flat had nice views of the ocean and was situated in an excellent location which was a pleasant walk into town. The apartment was located in a quiet area which was very peaceful at night and indeed at all times of the day. We were met by a Carbis Bay representative literally within minutes of arriving and letting them know we were at the apartment who showed us through the apartment and gave us the key. They were friendly and informative. We had a great time visitng the Eden Project and had it been warmer weather (and not raining) we would have gone on more walks and done more exploring. We had an awesome meal at Cafe Coast which had stunnig views overlooking St.Ives harbour. We had a truly wonderful time in Cornwall and would love to come back in summer when its a little bit warmer! We would not bother looking anywhere else than Carbis Bay Holidays because we could not fault them at all! Thanks again and see you soon!"

For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
