Floor to ceiling doors open to reveal a glass juliette balcony providing breathtaking views of Porthmeor Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
An oak laminate floor is laid throughout, with soft furnishings and venetian blinds providing a contemporary chic to this stunning seaside home. Two reading lamps are provided allowing you to set the ambience and a selection of board games, maps and books along with the property welcome guide allow you to enjoy some traditional pursuits or plan where to explore next.
The dining area is ideally situated within the open plan living space next to the kitchen but allowing diners to make the most of the sea views and sunsets.
You enter this beautiful home, into a spacious hallway, there are hooks for hanging coats and space for storing walking shoes or wellies in a storage cupboard to your left. There is a useful shower room, W.C & basin. Access to upstairs via 13 stairs, a door leading to the further storage cupboard housing the Samsung washing/dryer, ironing board, airer and iron. To the left are doorways leading to bedrooms 1 and 2.
If you like to venture out for a meal during your stay you could not be better located for ease of access to the fantastic selection of fine dining restaurants which St Ives has to offer.
The kitchen at Porthmeor Loft is part of the open plan living area allowing the chef to chat and socialise whilst preparing the meal. The contemporary white units are complimented by a stylish beech laminate worktop with ample space for cooking up a feast. Integrated appliances are provided including fan oven with grill, electric hob, dishwasher and larder fridge/freezer along with a overhead extractor hood and sink. There is a large window above the sink allowing you to enjoy stunning views across the rooftops of St Ives to Gwithian sands beyond.
The owners have taken care to ensure that you are provided with everything you could need, including a microwave, Dualit toaster & kettle and all the necessary utensils, pots and pans for a relaxed and comfortable holiday.
As the kitchen forms part of the open plan living area, the designated chef can happily socialise with the rest of the party whilst preparing meals.
The bedrooms are situated on the ground floor which is laid throughout with oak laminate flooring.
Situated to the rear of the property, this room is also bright and airy with picture window looking across St Ives. Furnished with a cast iron kingsize bed, two matching three drawer bedside tables, lamps and bureau chest of drawers with vanity table provide ample storage. There is a clothes rail for hanging to complete the ‘shabby chic’ style that gives this room a luxurious quality. Relax watching your favourite film from the comfort of your bed on a 24″ wall mounted TV.
Situated to the front of the property this bright airy bedroom boasts a marvellous view of ocean across a landscaped garden to the sea beyond. Light streams into this lovely room with matching twin beds and a three drawer bedside table, along with a bedside reading lamp and clothes rail for hanging.
There are lined curtains to both bedrooms with full length mirrors, a hairdryer and crisp white Egyptian cotton bed linen and quality towels are provided. At the end of the day relax watching your favourite movie on a 24″ TV.
A complimentary travel cot and highchair are provided; please provide your own cot bedding.
The family bathroom is located on the first floor and is fully tiled. A matching white suite comprises of a W.C, wash basin with storage underneath and a bath with overhead Mira shower. A large chrome heated towel rail, vanity mirror, shaver point and light are also provided.
The shower room is conveniently located on the ground floor next to Bedroom One and along the hallway from Bedroom Two. It is fully tiled and comprises of a W.C, wash basin with storage underneath, vanity mirror with light and shaverpoint, heated chrome towel rail and large walk in shower with integrated Mira shower.
A bath sheet and hand towel are provided for each guest to use, together with complimentary White Company toiletries in each bathroom. Please provide your own beach towels.

Some of our Cornish cottages and houses are pet friendly, the majority are child friendly where up to 2 infants can stay, complimentary travel cots high chairs and stairs gates are provided. Some of the house have a hot tub or thermal spa, just use the filters and view the refined results.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
