Parking

  • Guests are provided with one allocated parking space in an underground car park adjacent to the Peninsula apartments. Most guests find that they park the car up and then don’t use it for the rest of their stay as Oceania is perfectly located for shops, restaurants, beaches and local attractions, which are all within a five minute walk of this special holiday property. Please note there is a maximum width of 210cm in the car parking space.

Living Area

The wonderfully spacious living area can be found off the entrance hallway on the ground floor. This fantastic room is sure to impress all guests with its walnut flooring, contemporary furnishings and floor to ceiling french doors which lead out on to one of your private balconies. The panoramic sea views from here are magnificent, sweeping across from St Ives harbour to Hayle Towans taking in Godrevy lighthouse. Alternatively, why not watch the comings and goings in the bay from the lounge window using either the binoculars or tripod mounted spotting scope. For your comfort, Oceania provides two comfortable three seat grey leather settees, leather chair with footstool and glass coffee table, ideally positioned to make the most of the comprehensive entertainment package provided, which includes a 55″ UHD 4K curved LED TV with Full Sky package including Movies & Sport, 3D Bluray DVD player with a selection of DVD’s for all ages and four pairs of 3D glasses, Xbox 360 Kinetic with a variety of games and a Bose Soundlink mini.

Dining Area

The dining area is situated within the open plan living space and is furnished with a glass table with four high back designer chairs. It is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the sea views through the french doors, as well as for socialising with those preparing dinner in the kitchen. If you decide to taste the culinary delights which St Ives has to offer, we thoroughly recommend the towns fine dining restaurants, such as the Alba and Seagrass and of course not forgetting the award winning Porthminster Beach Café which is conveniently located just a couple of minutes walk away from Oceania.

Entrance Hallway

When entering this stunning apartment, you are greeted into a welcoming hallway where you will find ample space for hanging coats, along with two umbrellas which are provided for guests use.

Kitchen

The sleek kitchen at Oceania is simply beautiful. Fitted with high gloss units, granite worktops and granite splash back, giving this luxurious property the real wow factor. It is perfectly appointed with a 4 ring Neff ceramic hob, oven and microwave, along with an integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The walnut flooring continues into the kitchen and is lit at night by under cabinet mood lighting. A coffee machine, toaster, kettle, handheld blender, good quality glassware and crockery is also provided, along with all the utensils you could require to make a scrumptious feast.

Utility

A separate utility room is located off the main entrance hallway. The washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board and wall mounted pull out drying rack can all be found in here.

Bedroom One

Located on the first floor, the master bedroom is bright, airy and oozes style and sophistication. The second you walk into the bedroom you can’t help but be mesmerised by the spectacular sea views from your own private balcony. The balcony provides seating for four and is accessed via a set of French doors. Furnished with a king size bed with superior Hypnos mattress and beautifully dressed with scatter cushions and throw, you will be sure of a good nights sleep. Wake up in the morning and draw the blinds by remote control – sheer luxury. Bedside tables, reading lamps and ample storage is provided, along with a 32” LCD Smart Freeview television with Blu-Ray and a DAB clock radio for your entertainment. A built in safe is provided for valuables, along with a complimentary hairdryer for guests use. The master bedroom benefits from its own en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries.

Bedroom Two

Bedroom two is located on the ground floor next to the family bathroom. This bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, bedside table with reading light, 32” LCD Smart television with built in Freeview, Blu-Ray and a DAB clock radio. The twin single beds can be arranged as a zip and link super king bed on request. You can benefit from further views of the towns beaches from the picture window. A complimentary hairdryer is also provided for guests use.

Luxury cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms.

Bathroom One

The main bathroom of Oceania is located on the ground floor next to bedroom two and is tiled throughout with mosaic and porcelain tiles. There is a bath with overhead Hansgrohe shower, WC, wash basin, chrome heated towel rail and shaver point.

Bathroom Two

The en-suite bathroom, located upstairs in the master bedroom, boasts the same superb contemporary style and comprises a wash basin, A Hansgrohe shower, heated chrome towel rail and shaver point.

A selection of high quality towels are provided per person.

The two private beach front facing terraces are enviably positioned above Porthminster beach to benefit from stunning views across St Ives Bay.

A glass topped rattan table and four matching chairs are provided on the ground floor balcony, perfect for alfresco dining or pre-dinner drinks.

An additional glass topped rattan table and four chairs can also be found on the master bedroom balcony, making it a great place for enjoying a quiet read in the Cornish sun.

We are always drawn to the Sloop for the great atmosphere & good food & on a nice day we like walking around to Porthmear Beach to have a crab sandwich & glass of wine at the bar opposite the Tate. Not forgetting tha Porthminster Beach Cafe which has become our favourite restaurant over the years."

The apartment has everything and more that you need for a very comfortable stay- a real home from home. I thought the little touches (such as the cream tea, a pint of milk and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and a few dishwasher tablets) were very welcoming. I loved waking up to the wonderful view everyday. You couldn't get tired of it. I also liked the pictures of St Ives on the walls in the apartment. I thought the owners have done a wonderful job in making guests feel at home. The tv was great and the games, books and dvds another nice touch. The parking was excellent and under cover a real bonus. We were lucky enough to eat out at a number of pubs and restaurants (The Sloop, The Union, The Lifeboat ,The Alba and Porthminster Beach Cafe). The views from the apartment were just fantastic and we loved being so close to the beach, ideal for us (a family of 4 including two teenagers) and we enjoyed the 51" 3D television, especially in the first few days when the Olympics were still on. We also enjoyed using the hotel pool and jacuzzi, especially when it rained. We much enjoyed the Penlee Art Gallery in Penzance and the Tate, and ate well at the Porthminster Beach Cafe and the Tate, also lunch on the terrace at the Carbis Bay Hotel. We walked from Porthminster Beach to Carbis Bay, which was pleasant, and did a lovely circular walk from Zennor along the coast towards St Ives then back across the fields, ending with lunch at the pub at Zennor."

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
