It’s the perfect activity for culture vulture couples and lovers of the arts. St Ives is home to a host of lovely local art galleries, as well as two nationally renowned ones.

We recommend walking westward to Seal Island, around 3.5 miles from St Ives. As you can imagine, this small, rocky inshore island is home to a cute colony of Atlantic grey seals.

Use the St Ives Bay Line to sample delicious and local ales from all around West Cornwall. Purchase an Off-Peak Day Return ticket between St Ives and Penzance and hop on and off as you visit each pub.

A former St Ives lifeboat has undergone a 3 year restoration and is now offering a truly unique historic trip around St Ives bay.
Experience St Ives from the sea. View the beautiful beaches and stunning scenery, with a chance of spotting some of the local marine inhabitants such as seals and dolphins.
You will also learn about the history of this Lifeboat – James Stevens No.10. Including the heroic rescues that were performed from 1900 to 1933.
