Sandpiper benefits from a separate dining room, comfortably seating four people around a glass-topped dining table with four matching dining chairs. Here you can relax and enjoy your dinner in style. French doors lead onto a juliette balcony allowing you to open the door and let the cornish air flood in. There is also a large bookcase provided housing a selection of board games, jigsaws, local maps & books and DVDs suitable for all ages.
The conservatory is one of the features that makes the apartment so special. Double doors lead from the lounge to the conservatory where you can sit and watch the waves whatever season you choose to visit Sandpiper. The sea views span from St Ives across to Godrevy Lighthouse, this is the ideal spot to relax, either in the morning with a cappuccino and a book or in the evening with a glass of Champagne watching the sunset and comings and goings of the marine traffic with the binoculars provided for use during your stay. The conservatory has four rattan armchairs and an attractive glass-topped cane coffee table for your comfort. Double french doors lead from the conservatory onto the large, private terrace.
The light and airy kitchen benefits from stunning sea views and double French doors open out onto the spacious seaward facing terrace, perfect for an al fresco croissant and cappuccino or a pre dinner drink whilst the chef cooks up a storm! The kitchen has everything you need with a selection of units and work surfaces and integrated appliances four ring gas hob, electric grill & oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, and washer/dryer. You will also find a fantastic selection of utensils, crockery and glassware, toaster, kettle, microwave and cafetiere.
Bedroom One provides spacious accommodation with far reaching views over St Ives Bay through the front facing window. A large wardrobe, a chest of drawers and dressing table provide ample storage for you to stow away your belongings. At the end of each day, a comfortable king-sized bed complete with sumptuous linen awaits you. For your entertainment there is a 19″ Freeview LCD TV.
Bedroom two also benefits from stunning view across St Ives bay, twin New England style beds, fresh white linen and blackout lined curtains ensure a good nights sleep. This quiet room has a childs wardrobe with 5 drawers and a bedside table with drawer and lamp. A 19″ Samsung freeview TV for your entertainment.
Luxury cotton bed linen is provided in all bedrooms with a selection of high quality towels for each guest. A hairdyer is available for guest use in each of the bedrooms and they have fitted carpets throughout.
The main family bathroom in located on the upper floor adjacent to both bedrooms and consists of W.C., wash basin with shelf storage, vanity mirror, heated towel rail, bath and separate fully-tiled shower cubicle with power shower. A large velux window keeps this room bright and fresh.
There is also a separate shower room located off the entrance hallway on the lower floor, with low -level WC, wash basin with undersink storage, vanity mirror with light, shaver point and fully-tiled shower cubicle with power shower.
A selection of luxury towels are provided for guest use. Complimentary White Company toiletries are provided in each bathroom.
There is an understairs cupboard accessed from the shower room which houses the airer, vacuum cleaner, ironing board, iron and travel cot.
The spacious terrace runs the full width of the property and is accessed via double French doors from both the conservatory and kitchen. There are glorious, panoramic views to St Ives, Godrevy lighthouse and up the coast to Trevose Head. "'Sandpiper' exceeded our expectations, it was simply lovely. The views in particular were a great source of pleasure and the conservatory a haven. Standard of cleanliness excellent, bath-robes and welcome goodies a touch of luxury. The 'Waves' restaurant in St. Ives served superb food, we would also recommend the local Italian Casista for an excellent meal. Our walks were limited to the Carbis Bay to St. Ives route which is very enjoyable. The train is a must in adverse weather conditions and very convenient. A trip to Falmouth and ferry boat crossing was great. We think the beauty of Cornwall is so diverse it is best just to go out and discover it for oneself."
"The extra touches on arrival were really appreciated. We were on our honeymoon and it was lovely to be greeted by a bottle of bubbly as well as flowers, a cream tea and a bottle of red wine! The accommodation was perfect for us and lived up to our expectations from the website description and photos. The area is beautiful and we didn't really do much more than visit St Ives and the local area either by train or on foot."

"We had a really lovely time in Sandpiper a lovely property and is very well kitted out. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything still looks new. The highlight for me is the conservatory, great for reading or for taking in the view, especially if the weather turns wet. The wifi and Sky were also much appreciated. We think the location is excellent as you can easily walk into St Ives (we were fitter by the end of the week than at the start, with those steep hills!) or take the train, which is only a few steps away and costs only £1 each way. Carbis Bay beach is beautiful, with soft golden sands and turquoise water and during our week we saw seals in the bay each day. Our favorite restaurants this time were the Badger at Lelant for the Sunday carvery, Blas Burger Works for a fun meal and Harbour Fish and Chips, where the large seafood selection is a must. We finished the holiday with breakfast at Porthmeor Cafe, overlooking the beach; great food with a stunning view."

Catch the 300 bus from the top of Boskerris Road to Sennen Cove – the journey through Zennor and St Just is wonderful and you see more from the bus than you can from a car. Sennen Cove is beautiful and is much more interesting than Lands End."

"We had a wonderful week in Sandpiper. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed (and more). The conservatory was a real bonus and the patio area was great and enabled us to have lazy breakfasts in the sun. The weather throughout the week was perfect and we spent long days on the beach, relaxing and recharging the batteries! We ate at both Porthgwidden and Porthminster Beach Cafes - excellent; had fish and chips from Becks - always a must; and enjoyed a good old English breakfast over at Godrevy Beach Cafe."
Our choice of Sandpiper was excellent in all respects, the apartment was very clean and there was a good welcome pack. It was lovely to have the conservatory and balcony with such good views and this was a key point in our choice of apartment. We can add another glowing reference for the Porthminster Beach Cafe - the lunch we had was excellent and included the brilliant Deconstructed Pimms for pudding! We also visited the Badger Inn where the sizzling chicken dish was good and Becks fish and chips which certainly lived up to its reputation. We enjoyed bumbling about the area, used the train (much better than trying to park in St Ives) visited Lands End, St Michael's Mount, Truro Cathedral, Newlyn, the Tate and Barbara Hepworth's exhibitions and the Minack Theatre (a definite highlight) where as well as marvelling at the construction of the theatre we were able to watch gannets diving offshore. A walk which I particularly enjoyed involved catching the no 300 bus from Longstone Cross in Carbis Bay to the Gurnard Head Hotel and then using the coast path to walk back to Carbis Bay via St Ives - about 11 miles of rugged coast with fabulous sea views and sea colours made all the better by the strong winds creating plenty of white water. And I didn't need to use the car. All in all an excellent week."

For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
